Service Technician
Carl's Car Care is growing and we are seeking a qualified heavy line or bumper-to-bumper automotive technician to join our crew of veteran mechanics. You will be working on all foreign and domestic makes and models of passenger vehicles both older and new.
These are full time, salary based positions working Monday through Friday. You will have weekends off. Pay varies with experience and skills.
Job description
Your main tasks as a heavy line automotive technician:
- Large, labor intensive jobs such as heavy engine repair, engine replacements, transmissions, clutches, timing belts/chains, etc.
- In-depth suspension work including bushings, control arms, ball joints, etc.
- Quality alignment jobs on a Hunter Hawk Eye laser alignment rack.
- HVAC repair on 134a and 1234yf systems
- General service work such as oil changes, filters, belts, various flushes, etc.
Your main tasks as a bumper-to-bumper technician:
- General vehicle repair and drivability diagnostics
- Electrical and electronic system diagnosis using a meter, probe, scan tool, etc.
- Quality alignment jobs on a Hunter Hawk Eye laser alignment rack.
- HVAC repair on 134a and 1234yf systems
- General service work such as oil changes, filters, belts, various flushes, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive or diesel experience REQUIRED.
- Clean and valid driver license
- Proper tools for the job. We will make room for your tool boxes and carts.
- Any ASE certifications, diplomas or other accolades are not required but are a big bonus.

Compensation
Every technician at Carl's Car Care is paid a yearly salary with bi-weekly pay periods. Employees are not on "flat-rate" pay. Employees are subject to review and periodic pay raises based on performance. Starting salary with Carl's Car Care is based on technician experience, accolades and other skills.
